AGEA Workshops in Ghana
The International SEPT Program at Leipzig University, in collaboration with the Centre for Business Development (CBD) at KNUST in Kumasi (Ghana) has successfully organized twofold five days workshop through its new project, Africa-German Entrepreneurship Academy (AGEA). The partners include fifteen Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in Ghana and coordinated by the Centre for Business Development (CBD), KNUST. INES-Rwanda coordinates activities of Rwanda while Leipzig University coordinates activities in Germany. The activities of AGEA create a strengthened and enhanced synergy between German HEIs and business partners vis à vis academic institutions and business partners in Ghana and Rwanda.
The initial Trainer of Trainers (ToT) workshop was organized from 7th to 11th November and the second was 27th November to 2nd December 2017. Participants were trained in entrepreneurship and innovation management tools for the 10 days period. They expressed satisfaction with the new ideas and tools with indication that they will assist them is delivering better services to their students, fellow staff members and other customers in their catchment areas.
