12th Asian Science Park Association LEADERS MEETING 2017

The International SEPT Program contributed to the 12th Asian Science Park Association (ASPA) Leaders Meeting in Tehran. The meeting topic was "Economic Spring through Science, Technology, and Innovation" and it was organized by the University of Tehran Science and Technology Park (UTSTP) on 8-10 May 2017 in Tehran (www.aspa.ut-stp.ir).

Prof. Dr. Utz Dornberger, director of International SEPT, provided a speech on "Developing Local Innovation Systems - The Role of Transfer Service Providers". The speech focused on inevitable role of services providers (such as technology transfer offices, etc.) in developing linkages of a local innovation system and transferring knowledge and technology within an innovation system. In addition, it discussed typology of transfer services and it presented a tool in order to analyze transfer services in a local innovation system.
