Leipzig Founder's Night 2017: Call for Proposals

SMILE and Sparkasse Leipzig are holding the 2017 contest for business ideas and startups in Leipzig. Students, alumni and scientific staff of the universities and research institutions in Leipzig are called on to contribute with outstanding and innovative business ideas.

The goal of Leipzig Founder's Night is to award innovative ideas and startup business within the region of Leipzig. The prize money amounts to up to 2,000 euros.

How to participate:

  • All you need is a business idea
  • It is sufficient to submit a sketch of an idea via our online form. Only ideas that are submitted via our online form can enter the contest!
  • For questions or problems you can visit our Website in German or you can contact a SMILE team member, Mr. Christian Hauke: Christian.hauke(at)uni-leipzig.de
  • Deadline for submitting your idea sketch and participating in the competition is June 19th, 8.30 am
  • A jury of experts will decide on the best sketches. The selected individuals / teams will then be invited to present their idea at the award ceremony on September 14th, 2017
