JMS Scholarship awarded for research in the insect-based human food value chain

Our SEPT Student Mr. Hady Salman received the 2016 Dr Jörg Meyer-Stamer Scholarship award. Hady is busy with his MBA at Leipzig University, Germany and his supervisor is Prof. Dr. Utz Dornberger.

The research content will describe the daily challenges that start-ups and other agents operating in the insect-based human food value chain face. The challenges would range from financial to legal. The research question and objectives focus on how the different actors in the insect food value chain interact with each other in the process of getting their product across the chain and towards the end customer.
