SEPT organises Business Start-up Clinic for KAAD Scholar on 27th August, 2016
The international SEPT Program, Leipzig University organised a Business start-up Clinic for the Catholic Academic Exchange Service (KAAD) scholars as part of KAAD’s three day reintegration workshop which took place from the 25th – 28th August, 2016 in Bonn. This is to support project and business ideas of scholars who are finishing their study in Germany and returning back to their home countries.
The training provided competences needed to start new ventures and projects. The scholars were introduced to different tools they can use to work on their ideas. It is the objective of the KAAD that scholars will go back to build their own businesses and run their own projects to support their home country’s economy; to be employers and not just employees. The foundation of this training program is the conviction that the future of developing country economies relies on entrepreneurship and innovative Small and Medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
The facilitator of the workshop was Prof. Dr. Utz Dornberger, Director of the International SEPT Program, Leipzig University with the assistance of Richard Adu-Gyamfi and Kwabena Obiri Yeboah.
