Congratulations to the winners of our 2018 Leipzig Founder's Night

The goal of Leipzig Founder's Night is to award innovative ideas and growth-oriented startup business within the region of Leipzig. The target group of our competition includes students, scientists, entrepreneurs and businesses. The event was jointly organized by SMILE, Sparkasse Leipzig, Landkreis Leipzig, Landkreis Nordsachsen, Handwerkskammer Leipzig, as well as Industrie- und Handelskammer Leipzig on 19 of November 2018.

Since August 2006, the SMILE (Selbst Management Initiative Leipzig) has been working to establish the entrepreneurial spirit at Leipzig’s universities and research institutes. The associated partners of the initiative are the International SEPT Program and the Institute for Service and Relationship Management of Leipzig University, the Leipzig Graduate School of Management, the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research in Leipzig (UFZ), and the German Biomass Research Centre (DBFZ). The project is being supported by the European Social Fund (ESF) and Free State of Saxony.

The initiative is cooperating closely with further partners throughout Saxony and Germany to help young entrepreneurs, start ups and existing companies to succeed.
