Participants of the International SEPT program are registered students at the Universityof Leipzig. After registration students receive the below mentioned documents:

Certification of Enrolment

The document shows your Matriculation number. This number is used to identify the student in the whole University administration system. The number has to be used by the student for any identification during the study. Please mention this number in each communication (Email, Submission of Student works etc.) between you and the University of Leipzig.

Additionally to the matriculation number each student receives a second identification number generate by the International SEPT program to facilitate the student organization processes. The SEPT ID number is used in all communication between the program’s administration and the students. The SEPT ID number is generated after the beginning of the course by the programs administration. The students will be informed about their SEPT ID number by the programs administration.

TAN List and online user identity

A user identity is created by the time of the matriculation. This contains an e-mail address and its password. Both of them are hosted in the server for students of the University of Leipzig and serve as User Name and Password for several functions, such as e-mail, access to online library, etc. An additional TAN (transaction numbers) list includes unique PIN codes for other online functions.
